How Aptus Broadband and The National Broadband Plan Will Work Together

Aptus Broadband will have the capacity to supply fibre powered broadband to over 96% of the country once the National Broadband Ireland connection goes live.

The NBI is a government sponsored initiative that aims to supply broadband across rural Ireland. The NBI will install one fibre connection per household and do not supply broadband on behalf of retailers across Ireland.

Aptus Broadband will remain the fibre and broadband service supplier for thousands of homes across Ireland. Whilst remaining rural broadband specialists in the South East of Ireland, Aptus will also have the capacity to supply high speed fibre broadband to homes

Aptus Ultra Package

Aptus will be able to supply high speed internet of approximately 150mbps from each broadband connection point (BCP). Thus, allowing people to have high speed WiFi throughout their home.

With the help of Aptus Broadband, the new rural fibre network will be able to support those who are working from home, daily internet access, streaming, gaming, smart TV’s and more.
